From Tuesday April 2nd to Tuesday June 4th, professional printmaker and technician Bill Chambers will run an open-to-all printmaking session at Markham Community House and Centre. From 1pm – 3pm every week, participants can make their own artworks using a series of printmaking techniques, including relief printing and intaglio. Bill and Lucie create a calm, mindful and welcoming environment for people to learn new things in a supportive, non-judgemental and playful environment. This is all about meeting like-minded people, having fun and trying new things together.

The first 4-week trial period was impactful! Participants felt they gained a lot from having the time to themselves each week to focus on something important to them. It was decided by Inside Out Cymru and funders Caerphilly Arts Development that the well-attended group was worth running for another 10 weeks. The prolific group will focus on making a display for the Community House and Centre, leaving their mark as a reminder of what they’ve achieved.

With thanks to Caerphilly Arts Development, Caerphilly County Borough Council, local government Levelling Up funding, Markham Community House, Bill Chambers and the fantastic participants for making the workshops happen.
