At the beginning of November, Inside Out Cymru Artist Nathan Sheen visited The Redhouse in Merthyr Tydfil for an arts session with Arts And Minds at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
Funded by the Arts Council of Wales and the Baring Foundation, Arts and Minds is a project within health boards across Wales that supports health settings in embedding the arts as support for people with poor mental health and with their mental health recovery. In Cwm Taf Morgannwg Health Board, the project specifically looks to build social prescribing networks, resources and provision.
Inside Out Cymru are proud to support CTMUHB with these developments. Inside Out Cymru Artist Nathan Sheen led the group on a gentle and friendly ceramics workshop, learning about pinch pots, attachment techniques and decorating. The fab fishes will be fired soon, ready to be colourfully glazed another time!
