The Gwent Regional Partnership Board have provided Inside Out Cymru with a small grant through the new Health and Social Care Regional Integration fund (RIF) (2022-27).  The aim is that by the end of the five-year RIF programme the RPB will have established and  mainstreamed at least six new national models of integrated care so that citizens of Wales, wherever they live, can be assured of an effective and seamless service experience in relation to;

  • Community based care – prevention and community coordination
  • Community based care – complex care closer to home
  • Promoting good emotional health and well-being
  • Supporting families to stay together safely, and therapeutic support for care experienced  children
  • Home from hospital services
  • Accommodation based solutions.

Inside Out Cymru will deliver Arts for Wellbeing projects across three Gwent boroughs – Caerphilly, Blaenau Gwent and Monmouthshire. All of these community sessions, all with a focus on supporting wellbeing, good emotional health and connection with others, will be designed in collaboration with the local community. Through partners like GAVO, community connectors, the libraries service, United Welsh Housing, and Bridges Centre Monmouth, to name a few, Inside Out Cymru will provide art and craft for wellbeing sessions that offer a non-judgemental space to meet others, learn creative habits and have a creative outlet for our emotions.

This project continues until March 2023, with several rounds of delivery in each borough. From October to December, the first round of provision in each borough will go ahead.
