Delivering Arts Workshops & Activities Across Gwent
In March 2019, The Riverfront Theatre & Arts Centre in Newport hosted two days of activities to celebrate International Women’s Day.
2019’s campaign sought to Balance for Better, with a more gender balanced world, as well as to progress gender parity. With an inspirational female focus, the event offered activities, workshops, demonstrations, performances, discussions and guest speakers.
Inside Out Cymru got involved by providing the opportunity for participants to learn tightrope walking and circus skills, inspired by the theme of Balance for Better and to encourage women to step outside of their comfort zone.
